John Berger , art critic and general THINKER dead at 90
His 4 part series Ways Of Seeing is on YouTube if you fancy a break from deciding whether you would beat Mike Dean's head in with a shovel or prefer to cut it off with a rusty saw.

Andy Warhol was half right. Not only did most of this lot get their 15 minutes of fame in the 60 with the advent of universal telly and satellite comms, but they are getting another 15 minutes now when they quite naturally peg it 50 years later.

William Christopher indeed!

Seeing our alleged interest in Demba Ba, he has just leapfrogged into my top ten. A striker at West Ham who is crocked. A very risky profession based on history and current situation. ;-)

DM: i stopped doing a Death List a few years back when I got so many right and it was depressing - even predicted Amy Winehouse ! The list was updated and included so many gone this year including George Michael but some rarer celebs - I too had Frank Williams but not the F1 guy but the vicar from Dads Army
